Day 1: Vancouver

Arrive in Vancouver, one of the most scenic cities in the world. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 2: Vancouver to Victoria

This morning depart on a sightseeing motorcoach tour to Victoria, including a scenic 90-minute ferry crossing to Vancouver Island and entrance to world-famous Butchart Gardens where you will have approximately 2 hours to enjoy the floral displays. Continuing to Victoria enjoy a narrated tour of Victoria's marine drive before arriving at your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure in Victoria. Overnight in Victoria.

Day 3: Victoria to Port Hardy

After hotel pick up, your narrated coach tour departs Victoria at approximately 8:30 AM and makes stops in the towns of Duncan, known for its native carvings, and Chemainus, famed for its murals painted throughout the town. Continuing north visit Coombs Country Market, made famous for the goats that graze on the roof, where a 1-hour lunch stop is made (lunch not included). After lunch the tour follows a scenic route along the shoreline through Qualicum Beach and north on the Island Highway past Campbell River. At Cable Café, a unique building made of logging cable, enjoy a 15-minute stop for coffee. The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel in Port Hardy. Overnight in Port Hardy.

Day 4: Port Hardy to Prince Rupert

An early morning transfer will take you to the BC Ferries Terminal where you board the world-renowned day cruise through British Columbia’s scenic “Inside Passage” to Prince Rupert. Your ship is equipped with a variety of amenities including dining options, gift shops and viewing decks, as well as nature talks describing the flora and fauna along the way. Arrival into Prince Rupert is approximately between 10:30-11:00 PM and a transfer to your hotel is included. Overnight in Prince Rupert.

Day 5: Prince Rupert to Prince George

Transfer to the rail station and board Via Rail’s Skeena Train as you travel from the British Columbia coast to the Mountains. This all day train excursion showcases some of the most varied landscapes in the province, including stunning mountains and pristine wilderness, lakes and rivers punctuated by quaint hillside settlements and farms. Upon arrival in Prince George transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Prince George.

Day 6: Prince George to Jasper

VIA Rail's Skeena train takes you east towards Alberta. After passing through forests known for a very high moose population, your route follows the Rocky Mountain Trench, a deep valley surrounded by stunning peaks, before crossing the continental divide and arriving in the town of Jasper. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 7: Jasper

A free day to enjoy this peaceful mountain resort town. Highlights include a ride on the Jasper Tramway and a visit to the world-famous Jasper Park Lodge. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 8: Jasper

Enjoy a tour along one of the worlds' most scenic highways, the Icefields Parkway. Stop at numerous viewpoints, including Athabasca Falls and Sunwapta Falls before arriving at the world-renowned Columbia Icefields. Here you will ride an Ice Explorer to a stunning vantage point high on a glacierbefore returning to Jasper. Wildlife sightings are common on this tour, including bears, bighorn sheep, moose and mountain goats. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 9: Onboard VIA Rail

Depart Jasper and travel west through the mountains on the world-renowned Canadian train Your route takes you past Mt. Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, before crossing the continental divide into British Columbia. Overnight onboard VIA Rail in upper and lower berths. Prices are available for guests wishing to travel in cabins (bedrooms). Please ask for details.

Day 10: Arrive Vancouver

Your train journey continues along the Fraser River and through the Fraser Canyon back to the city of Vancouver. On arrival transfer to your overnight hotel. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 11: Tour Ends

Your tour ends on check-out from your hotel.
