Tour #2 — Coach/Train
After hotel pick up, this narrated coach tour departs Victoria at approximately 8:30 AM and follows the island highway to Duncan - known for it’s native carvings. After a short stop-over, we continue on to Chemainus, a small town famous for its larger than life murals painted throughout the town.(Stop for photos/coffee). Continuing up island our next stop is for lunch (not included) at the Coombs country market made unique by the goats grazing on the roof. After lunch we travel to Qualicum where passengers have about 50 min. of free time to explore before boarding the train to return to downtown Victoria. The 3.5 hr. Rail journey aboard showcases some of the most beautiful scenery along the east shore of Vancouver Island. Arrive in downtown Victoria at approximately 5:30pm. (Train station is at 450 Pandora Ave, just a 3 blocks from the Empress Hotel.)

Tour #3 — Train/Coach
This is the reverse of tour #2 above. This tour includes rail service from downtown Victoria departing at 8:00 AM to Qualicum Beach and offers the coach tour from Qualicum to Victoria. Note that passengers commence the tour at the rail station located at 450 Pandora Ave ( just a 3 blocks from the Empress Hotel) ; however, hotel drop off in the evening is included.
