Tour #22.6 - Vancouver/Port Hardy/Telegraph Cove/Nanaimo/Vancouver
(2 Night/3 Day)
Day 1: Vancouver to Port Hardy
This tour starts in Vancouver with a transfer to the airport for your 50-minute (approx) flight from Vancouver to Port Hardy. Upon arrival at the airport, guests claim their rental car, after checking into the hotel, make their way to Telegraph Cove (approx 40 minute drive) for their 3.5hr whale watching tour. Telegraph Cove, a unique seaside inlet is tucked away on the eastern coast of Northern Vancouver Island known to be a hub for outdoor adventure. Onsite enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk, take in the whaling museum or have a bite to eat at the local pub/restaurant. Return to Port Hardy. Overnight in Port Hardy.
Day 2: Port Hardy
Early this morning return to Telegraph Cove where you meet your guide then depart for a full day (approx 9hrs) of Grizzly Bear viewing. Departing via boat from Telegraph Cove this exciting daytrip will take you to Knight Inlet, one of the most populated bear habitats. (Lunch is included during your daytrip). Upon returning to Telegraph Cove, drive back to Port Hardy for your final night.
Day 3: Port Hardy to Vancouver via Nanaimo
After returning your rental car, meet the coach which will depart for Nanaimo on a fully narrated sightseeing tour of Vancouver Island. (attraction stops enroute). Arriving in Nanaimo, you will travel back to downtown Vancouver via 25min scenic floatplane trip. Tour concludes at the Vancouver Floatplane Terminal.

- Bearviewing daytrip requires passengers to travel onboard a comfortable 28 ft. boat
for some distance, waters can be rough so it is advisable for people with back problems
